About the Author

Patrick Bryce Wright is a quirky English professor with tattoos, piercings, and an addiction to supernatural horror, fantasy, and science fiction.

He’s published several previous novels, including Facing the Curse, The Summoning, and Conjure Hill. Patrick is proudly neurodivergent, third gender, and a trauma survivor, all things often reflected in his novels. Patrick is a social activist for the LGBTQIA+ community and focuses on LGBTQIA+ characters in his novels.

Among his goals in storytelling are sensitive portrayals of the queer community, the d/Deaf community, and people with dissociative identity disorder. Patrick has degrees in both English and Psychology, both of which inform his writing. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, off-road biking, pyrography, and learning American Sign Language.
