About the Author

Saul Sandoval's narrative journey began against the backdrop of the dynamic Rio Grande Valley in South Texas, near Harlingen, where his love for storytelling found its roots. At the University of North Texas in Denton, he delved into the world of Radio, Television, and Film, cultivating the skills that would later define his unique voice.

A decade spent in the call center industry couldn't extinguish Sandoval's passion for writing. Driven to tell stories, he returned to his South Texas roots, completing his academic journey at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. There, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a specialized focus in Creative Writing.

Undeterred by the demands of a full-time job, Sandoval pursued a master's in fine arts in Creative Writing at Southern New Hampshire University. His writing serves as a powerful tribute to the people and cultural tapestry of the Rio Grande Valley, a region often overshadowed but brimming with stories waiting to be told. With his debut novel, “Treasure Hills”, he aspires to bring forth the nuances of this community, hoping to draw the attention it rightfully deserves.

When he's not crafting captivating narratives, Sandoval immerses himself in the worlds of mystery, science fiction, and contemporary fiction. Exploring new territories is not limited to his literary pursuits; alongside his partner, he embraces the joy of discovering both local and international landscapes. Beyond his literary endeavors and travels, Sandoval extends his compassion to local feline friends, actively contributing to the welfare of needy cats in his community. His multifaceted approach to life reflects a genuine love for storytelling, adventure, and making a positive impact on the world around him.
