E. Graziani

Edy (E.) Graziani is the author of several acclaimed young adult novels spanning fantasy, contemporary, and historical fiction. She is best known for her time-travel duology, Alice of the Rocks and Angel of Time, the former named one of Barnes & Noble’s Top Ten Young Adult Summer Reads (2023) and the latter recognized among CCBC’s Best Books for Kids and Teens (Spring 2024).

Her diverse body of work also includes Magenta and Everything That Was Us. Her contemporary YA novel Breaking Faith was featured on CBC Canada’s Must-Read Books for Spring 2017, selected for the In the Margins Book Award 2018 Recommended Fiction List, and honoured as one of CCBC’s Best Books for Kids and Teens. She is also the author of the YA historical memoir War in My Town, another CCBC Best Books selection and finalist for the Hamilton Arts Council 2016 Literary Awards for Best Non-Fiction.

Edy’s newest project, the Of Fire and Sky trilogy, begins with The Last Ember, a sweeping YA fantasy romance of forbidden love, ancient power, and rebellion against tyranny.

An active member of The Writers’ Union of Canada (TWUC) and CANSCAIP, Edy has spoken at schools, libraries, and book clubs, and has hosted panels for TWUC, CANSCAIP, and Appleby College. A lifelong science fiction enthusiast ever since her first glimpse of Star Trek, she admits she’d often rather live in a fantasy world than the real one. When not writing or connecting with readers online, she can be found traveling or at home in Ontario, Canada, with her family.
