Morgan North

Morgan North is an enthusiastic reader, novice author, and proud dog-parent with a creative spirit grounded in science. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Morgan returned home after earning her Master’s degree in Psychology, specializing in Neuroscience and Behavior, from the Chicago area. Rediscovering her first passion—literature—after years devoted to scientific pursuits, she found herself compelled to write, blending her love of storytelling with a keen understanding of human behaviour.

A graduate of a creative arts high school where she focused on fiction, poetry, screenplays, and stage plays, Morgan’s return to writing felt both natural and invigorating. Her work is deeply influenced by her academic background in early life social stress and her fascination with resilience, hope, love, and identity. These themes come alive in her series Promise of Night, featuring complex, flawed, and evolving characters that mirror her own curiosity and experiences.

When not writing or reading, Morgan enjoys spending time with her dogs, dabbling in gardening, and experimenting in the kitchen, often crafting bakery-quality breads and cakes inspired by her love of chemistry.
